How To Become an Interim Manager

We’re living in an age where the increasing trend towards flexible working is creating great opportunities for senior level executives and senior managers, who are growing tired of the gravy train of the conventional ‘full time’ career.  If you are thinking about using your experience and expertise in a consultancy role rather than a full time position, Interim Management could be for you. 

To be a highly successful interim manager you’ll need to demonstrate you can be adaptable,  responsive and prepared to get onto a new assignment at short notice, and be highly focused and able to deliver results within agreed budget and timescales.

All of our registered Interim Managers are put through a detailed screening interview with a member of Certes Interim Management team, during this detailed assessment a range of competencies are assessed and achievements are verified.    For first time Interim Managers, we can also refer you to some useful contacts to help you set up your limited company; this will include professional advisors such as accountants, lawyers and insurers or umbrella companies as appropriate.

Of course if you are an experienced interim who wishes to work for Certes Interim Management, we will assess your achievements and track record and run through our criteria for joining our registered team of Interim consultants, and our contractual processes and ensure that we can work together.
