We require a Project Manager (DV Cleared) for a 9 month contract role based on a Government Client site in Milton Keynes to start asap...

Role Overview:
To manage various projects across the Client's technical security portfolio.
You will be responsible for the delivery of small to medium projects (circa £50k to £2M) in accordance with SLA's and portfolio/project plans.
Also the delivery of customer requirements in line with those expected from the delivery of the project.
Scheduling of major work packages ensuring optimum use of Client Services resources and the pipeline forecasting of work to ensure adequate resource planning.
Establishing and Securing the supply chain for their projects
Financial management of the projects in line with Client processes and procedures
Problem resolution for any issues arising from the programme/projects
Also to represent the Client at project governance meetings.

Essential skills/experience required:
DV Clearance
Prince 2 Practitioner, APMP, ISEB Certificate in Project Management or equivalent (or ability to obtain these qualifications within six months of taking on the role)
Demonstrable experience of project management methodologies and their application in the design, development and implementation of projects.
Experience in delivering a complex range of projects, preferably in diverse geographic locations in a secure environment.

Understanding and experience of projects in one or more of the following areas, in terms of the operation, maintenance and deployment of:
IT: projects involving the installation of IT and communication systems including the delivery of IT infrastructure in an ITIL environment developing techniques on a global scale.
Perimeter & Protective Security: projects involving the deployment of security systems such as CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection systems.
Estates and Construction: projects relating to estates & construction using UK and International construction standards, contracts and methodologies such as NEC3 and preferably in diverse geographic locations
Knowledge of analysis techniques, business and/or systems, and its application in a project environment.
A robust understanding of Health & Safety standards and procedures
A sound knowledge of financial controls and management with knowledge of all aspects of the project life cycle coupled with a track record of working successfully with Enterprise financial systems (Oracle) at a project level.
Experience of MS Project or equivalent project planning tool.

Knowledge or experience in Project Management products such as MoR
Knowledge of analysis techniques, business and/or systems and its application in a project environment.
