An exciting opportunity exits for an Analyst Programmer to be trained in a high profile energy trading system and AVS script development. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in one or more computer languages that do not have objects, for example, C, Prolog and shell scripting. Experience of using databases and in particular SQL. The candidate must be willing to learn and take on board new concepts and apply them in this practical environment. The role will also include analysing problems and producing the requirements to solve them. Experience of Java, the full project lifecycle and being familiar with a formal project methodology is desirable.
