Commenting on the highly successful training scheme Kathryn Horton, Certes’ Training Manager said “The dedicated 6 month training program has been designed and developed using our in-depth knowledge and experience of recruitment to deliver an intensive, interactive and practical training program. And the way that we’ve structured it allows graduate trainees to develop the skills required to be top class recruitment consultants in a relatively short period of time”.
The program has a twice yearly intake, in Autumn and Early Spring, and provides a structured and tested entry into the recruitment profession, covering all areas of recruitment practise.
Horton concludes “Over our 25 year history we’ve had feedback that many trainee’s find grasping all aspects of the Recruitment Consultant role difficult at the beginning, due to the many aspects to learn and perfect. That’s why we have developed a six month programme; in order for trainees to have time to fully understand the scope of recruitment best practice, and to develop and hone these skills through hands on experience and coaching. To be suitable for the program we’re looking for hard working, enthusiastic and resilient individuals, who are excellent at communicating at all levels and have a very strong ‘can do’ attitude .”
